A group of enthusiastic people, expert and ready for anything, is forming to carry out the crucial actions of PonDerat, which will take place in mid-January.

On December 19th an important meeting of the working group that will concretely eradicate rats from Ventotene and Palmarola took place at Nazzano Natural Reserve, with the aim of training, consolidating and coordinating the group. During the day there were several presentations about PonDerat specific actions, past rat eradication experiences on other Mediterranean islands, and about some important issues such as safety aspects for operators and communication with resident people. Ample space has been given to questions, observations, advice and suggestions.

Another small step towards one of the most crucial moments of PonDerat.
