Every year "Celebrates Islands" invites those who are involved in the protection of the islands, coming from all the archipelagos of the world, to mobilize around a theme by proposing initiatives that enhance the wealth of their territories. Life PonDerat took part in the 2021 event which took place, for obvious reasons, online. In particular we have produced a video that is our way to thank the citizens of Ventotene for the support they have given us in these years of hard work on their island, their warm welcome and, why not, also the compliments they give us for the results achieved so far.

In addition, we have supported the participation of a local association in a competition held during Celebrate islands 2021. Up for grabs, a cash prize to finance the project proposal made by the participants. The Lavica Association, active on Ventotene, has proposed the creation of one of the traditional hot air balloons that are flown on the island during a religious holiday. In this case, however, the construction would be an opportunity to do activities of education and advertising both with the boys of the island and with tourists.
We must thank the Ventotene and Santo Stefano Islands State Reserve for their support.
