Today, June 19th is the World Albatross Day.

We celebrate "our albatross": Scopoli's shearwater and Yelkouan shearwater. In the picture you can see a chick of Scopoli's shearwater.

Our project aims at eradicating rats, invasive alien species on the Ponziane Islands and the most important threat for shearwaters chicks.

And the theme for ‘WAD2020’ is “Eradicating Island Pests”!
